In Merauke there are two universities that have agricultural departments/study programs, including Yasanto Merauke Agricultural Polytechnic and Merauke Musamus University. However, in these two universities, several departments/study programs do not yet have adequate facilities and infrastructure. Therefore, an Agricultural College with more complete facilities will be planned. The method used in this research is a descriptive method which is carried out by collecting data in the form of interviews with several sources including Students at SMK Negeri 1 Tanah Miring, Plt. Ka. Bureau of Academic Student Affairs and Cooperation, & Chair of the Department of Agricultural Engineering, Deputy Director 1 of Yasanto Merauke Agricultural Polytechnic. and direct documentation of research objects. Apart from that, we took some related data in the form of journals, books and websites related to the research title. The results of the data obtained were used to design the Tanah Miring Agricultural College. The design of the Tanah Miring Agricultural College was built on an area of 87,276 m2 located on Jalan Sp 8, Tanah Miring District, Merauke Regency. The designed facilities are divided into 3 parts, namely: main management and activity facilities (Rectorate Main Building, Department Building, Library, Agricultural Management Building), supporting facilities (dormitory, multipurpose building, park, experimental garden), and service facilities (canteen, minimarket, Generator Building, Guard Post, and Prayer Room). The Modern-Tropical Architectural Design Approach will implement efficient and functional spaces, appropriate to the local climate and incorporate modern elements in the building facade.
Copyright (c) 2024 Musamus Journal of Architecture 2024-04-26 2024-04-26 6 2 12 24 10.35724/mja.v6i2.6083 PADEPOKAN PERGURUAN IKATAN KELUARGA SILAT PUTRA INDONESIA KERA SAKTI https://www.ejournal.unmus.ac.id/index.php/archi/article/view/6087
Pencak silat is an original Indonesian martial art that is rich in a variety of techniques, benefits and noble values that should be preserved. Kera Sakti College, is a martial arts college under the auspices of IPSI. Kera Sakti College was established on January 15, 1980 in Madiun City. Kera Sakti College entered Papua for the first time in Merauke, precisely in the village of Waninggap Kai (Semangga 3) starting on July 5, 1989, it continued to grow until 1999 with 5 branches and when the number of branches reached 16 and the number of members was 1,202 people. Currently Kera Sakti College does not yet have a training center. This study aims to design the Kera Sakti college hermitage in Merauke by applying a neo-vernacular approach. The research method uses a descriptive research approach. The descriptive approach is an approach that is also called an investigative approach because researchers usually collect data face-to-face and interact with the people in the research area. The facilities and infrastructure built at the Kera Sakti hermitage include a sports building, training building, athlete's house, management office, prayer room, chapel, shophouse, multipurpose building, fitness and sauna building, sports equipment, canteen, generator room, and guard post. The design of the Kera Sakti Padepokan uses a neo-vernacular architectural approach and uses a philosophy taken from the Kera Sakti symbol which can be seen on the site plan.
Copyright (c) 2024 Musamus Journal of Architecture 2024-04-26 2024-04-26 6 2 25 37 10.35724/mja.v6i2.6087 PUSAT KONSERVASI DAN EDUKASI ANGGREK DI MERAUKE https://www.ejournal.unmus.ac.id/index.php/archi/article/view/6214
Kabupaten Merauke memiliki 4 lokasi budidaya tanaman Anggrek, 2 di Kampung Wasur yaitu Kebun Anggrek Nirwana, Taman Anggrek Bualas dan 2 di Semangga 1 yaitu UD.
