Analisis Kelayakan Usahatani Komoditas Ubi Kayu (Manihot esculenta) (Studi Kasus Kampung Wenda Asri Distrik Jagebob Kabupaten Merauke)
Abstract
Jagebob is one of the districts located in Merauke Regency, and has quite good potential to develop cassava farming. One of the villages that stands out in this regard is Wenda Asri. Wenda Asri Village is one of the villages with the largest planting area among other villages, with a planting area reaching 14 ha and a productivity of 25.00 tons per ha in 2022. Although cassava production in this village is quite high, this is not directly proportional to the income obtained, due to high production costs. This study aims to analyze production costs and the feasibility of cassava farming in Wenda Asri Village, Jagebob District, Merauke Regency. The sampling method used in this study was the census method, so that it succeeded in collecting data from 60 respondents. The results of the analysis showed that the average fixed costs reached IDR 236,518, while the average variable costs were IDR 3,214,405. Thus, the total average production costs reached IDR. 3. 450. 923. On the other hand, the average income from cassava farming is Rp. 5,525,982, which generates farmer income of Rp. 2,075,059. The R/C Ratio analysis shows a value of 1.60, which means the R/C Ratio is greater than 1. This indicates that farming in this research area is feasible to be developed.
